Air Fryer Tandoori Chicken

 
 

Ingredients

  • 5 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

  • 1/3 cup plain yogurt or plain Greek yogurt

  • 4 garlic cloves

  • 1/2 tsp cumin

  • 1/4 tsp garam masala

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric

  • 1/4 tsp chili powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 lemon (juice)

  • Pita bread

  • Tomato

  • Red onion

  • Sauce for pita: 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp sriracha.

Directions

  1. Combine the chicken with yogurt, garlic, cumin, garam masala, turmeric, chili powder, salt, and juice from 1 lemon. Marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

  2. Air fry the chicken at 400°F for about 13-14 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  3. To assemble the pita, add sliced chicken, sliced tomato, sliced red onion and sauce. Could also add lettuce and sliced cucumber for extra vegetables!
