Fish Tacos

 
 

Ingredients

  • Flour or corn tortillas

  • 2 tilapia filets

  • 1/2 cup flour

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 cup panko

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp paprika

  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

  • 1/4 tsp chili powder (omit if you don’t want them to be spicy)

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • Topping suggestions: Lettuce, radish, pico de gallo, pickled onions, sour cream, fresh lime juice

Directions

  1. Heat air fryer to 375°F

  2. Place flour in a shallow dish. Mix breadcrumbs, panko, and spices together in another shallow dish. Beat egg into a shallow bowl.

  3. Coat tilapia in flour, then egg mixture, then coat with bread crumb mixture.

  4. Once coated, spray with with avocado oil and place in air fryer basket. Cook for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  5. Place fish in tortillas and top with lettuce, radish, pickled onions, pico de gallo, sour cream, and fresh lime juice!

Tip: Can also use 1 packet taco seasoning instead of the individual spices for a quicker preparation.
